A long time ago, the land of Israel was ruled by the selfish king Ahab and his wicked wife Jezebel. Jezebel built temples and idols to the false god Baal. She appointed wicked prophets of Baal and began killing all the true prophets of God.

It was at this time, when the land was filled with sin, that a courageous prophet named Elijah arrived on the the scene, bellowing out the famous words,

"As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word."
